There is no betrayal bigger than giving 15 years of nothing but love, loyalty, and devotion to a loved one, only for them to betray you in the end. For one dog named Spammy, this is his new reality.
Spammy’s owner didn’t want him anymore, and so one day, he gathered his things, packed up his belonging, and mercilessly surrendered him to the Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California. Carson, a shelter known for it notoriously high kill rate, is not a place one would pin their hopes and dreams to say and write the least.
Dogs and cats trapped in the facility are given just days, and sometimes just weeks to find forever families before the inevitable happens: euthanasia.
Spammy is blind in his left eye, and when you couple that with his age, it might almost be near impossible for him to get a fair shot at finding a forever family. The sweet pup, who seems resigned to the glib fate that awaits him, takes a deep sigh and cries before he sleeps every night wondering what he did to deserve such treatment. Sad indeed.
Fidonation, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he rightfully deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566, and reference the shelter ID #A5074731.
Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding Spammy a home. We have done it before and can certainly do it again. ❤️
