Life is about as unpredictable as the weather. One moment, you are celebrating accomplishments, and toasting to a promising future, the next moment, you are feverishly trying to dodge a curveball, before you strike out altogether.
For one pup named Chief, he could tell all you need to know about hardship. Chief’s owner didn’t want him anymore, and so one day, he gathered his things, rounded up everything thing he owned, and dumped him at the Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California.
Carson, a shelter notorious for its high kill rate, is not the place one would like to pin their hopes and dreams. Dogs trapped in the facility are given weeks, and sometimes even just days to find forever families before the unthinkable happens: euthanasia.
Chief, an intelligent German shepherd pup, has a strong sense of what’s going on. It’s no wonder why that before he sleeps, he cries silently to himself, wondering what on earth he did to deserve such a glib fate.
Fidonation, if you or someone you know is interested in giving Chief the forever home he rightfully deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566, and reference the shelter ID #A5054648.
Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding Chief a home.
