When you try and all else seems to fail, life just seems not worth living anymore. For one shelter pup named Glen, his efforts seem like they are not paying off whatsoever. The one-year-old, German shepherd is presently in a kennel run at the high-kill Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California.

The formally high-spirited pup, who was the first to greet shelter patrons as they walked by his kennel in the most joyful manner, is now reduced to slumped shoulders and tears. For some strange reason, no one wants to give Glen a second chance, and so he all but gave up trying and understandably so.

Carson is one of those places that strips the hopeful of pure positivity and energy and Glen is the perfect example. The high energy pup, who thought his stay at the high kill facility would be a temporary one, is now starting to plan a dark future without a home to call his own. Sad indeed.

A Petharbor listing for Glen reads,

“My name is GLEN and I’m an approximately 1-year-old male German Shepherd. I am not yet neutered.”

Fidonation, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he rightfully deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566 and reference the shelter ID #A5038121.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding Glen a family he deserves. We have done it before and can certainly do it again.
