For Bruno, the days just don’t seem to be getting any easier. The 2-year-old pit bull pup, who is enduring a brutal kennel run at the high kill Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California, is wondering what he has to do to get adopted.
The vivacious, gentle, kind and loving pup who greets visitors to his kennel with a paw, has become a shadow of himself as the days drag on. Bruno, who is routinely passed up for other dogs by shelter patrons, is just too sad to even try anymore after facing rejection at every turn.
Carson, unfortunately, is not a place a dog should give up trying because it could quite literally mean their lives. Dogs are given just weeks, and sometimes even just days to find forever families, before they are brought to a special back room where they are “humanely euthanized” as Carson likes to call it.
A Petharbor listing for the pup reads,
“My name is Bruno and I am described as a male, gray tiger, and tan Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter thinks I am about 2 years and 9 months old.”
Fidonation, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the home he deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566 and reference the shelter ID #A5027730.
Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding Bruno a home. We have done it before and can certainly do it again.
