Sweet Lacy could have never imagined in her short life on this earth, that she would have to face the reality of going it alone. Lacy, who is only 4 months old, was dumped at the Carson Animal Shelter by a heartless owner, who just didn’t want anything to do with her anymore-this according to my source at the shelter who wishes to remain anonymous for this story.
Carson, a city-funded, cash-strapped facility, where resources are about as hard to come by as water in the desert, has a pretty strict policy they enforce when it’s time to free up “valuable kennel space.” Dogs and cats trapped in the facility are given a few weeks, and sometimes even just days to find forever families, before the unthinkable happens: euthanasia.
Lacy, who is bewildered as she is confused, is left pondering a very glib future, that does not look bright when you consider Carson’s track record. Most animals who come in, rarely make it out, and unfortunate for Lacy, as the way things stand now, she is no exception. Thankfully, Lacy has you.
Fidonation, if you or someone you know is interested in giving Lacy the forever family she rightfully deserves, please contact the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson at (310) 523-9566 and reference the shelter ID #A5053394.
Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding Lacy a home. 💕❤
